A song whose lyrics you thought you knew in the past, but about which you later learned you were incorrect.

i really have nothing on this one because if i can't understand it, i immediately look it up online. i know there is one really embarassing one though that i am trying to think of... hmm.

Your least favorite song on one of your favorite albums of all time.

any song on which isaac hanson sings lead on any hanson albums. in particular, "hand in hand" and "love song." i would seriuosly rather hear fingernails on a chalkboard.

A song you like by someone you find physically unattractive or otherwise repellent.

uhm, i think the lead singer from train is pretty hideous but i love the song, "when i look to the sky."

Your favorite song with the name of a city in the title or text.

well, if gump can use a state, so can i: "carolina in my mind" by james taylor or... come on, i can't resist: NORTH CAROLINA, COME ON AND RAISE UP.

A song you've listened to repeatedly when you were depressed at some point in your life.

oh man, there are entirely too many of these, but two tried-and-true classics are "bed of lies" by mb 20 and "easy tonight" by five for fighting. i love those guys' voices.

Ever buy an entire album just for one song and wind up disliking everything but that song? Gimme that song.

i'm sure i would be lynched in the musical world fro committing this fallacy but the only song i like on tragic kingdom is "don't speak."

Your favorite song that has expletives in it that's not by Liz Phair.

"the dream life of rand mcnally" by jason mraz. live version is best.

A song that sounds as if it's by someone British but isn't.

i thought maroon 5 was a brit band until i read an interview with them. yeech. some good songs though!

A song you like (possibly from your past) that took you forever to finally locate a copy of.

"white dress" by kenny marks... my mom gave it to me on tape when i was nine. morpheous is showing exactly one matching result as i search for it right now.

A song that reminds you of spring but doesn't mention spring at all.

"penny and me" by hanson

A song that sounds to you like being happy feels.

"que sera, sera" by doris day

Your favorite song from a non-soundtrack compilation album.

what the fuck? that is too much criteria. the only compilation i've ever liked was that chad kroeger/santana song, but that was for a soundtrack so i guess i'm out.

A song from your past that would be considered politically incorrect now (and possibly was then).

uhm, i was born in 1983. "pretty fly for a white guy" is all that comes to mind.

A song sung by an overweight person.

rain (supa dupa fly) by missy... well, she was overweight when it came out anyway.

A song you actually like by an artist you otherwise hate.

"vindicated" by dashboard confessional

A song by a band (whose members actually play instruments) that features three or more female members.

manic monday by the bangles. i love it. I LOVE IT. also, michelle and jessica harp just got together to form the wreckers, and they are clearly both female, but they are also the only two members.

One of the earliest songs that you can remember listening to.

"little miss can't be wrong" by spin doctors. gee i wonder if my older brother was trying to tell me something.

A song you've been mocked by friends for liking.

i like hanson--what is not to mock?

A really good cover version you think no one else has heard.

new found glory's punk version of "my heart will go on" OR hanson's live cover of "piece of my heart"

A song that has helped cheer you up (or empowered you somehow) after a breakup or otherwise difficult situation.

"since you been gone" by kelly clarkson is helping me a bit right now.

What was the last song you downloaded?

"single by choice" by the bangles.

An album you love that is flawless from start to finish (in other words no song skipping necessary)?

"more than you think you are" by matchbox twenty and "breakaway" by kelly clarkson (shuttup)

The song that made you get the album in that first place?

"since you been gone"

Give me the song title which you think best describes who you actually are. Explain.

"short skirt, long jacket" by cake. hehehe. with a few lyrical exceptions, i am so not kidding.

Now give me the song title which you think best describes your personality. Explain.

uhm... okay, i will hate that i admitted this but "freak out" by avril lavigne. sample lyrics: "try to tell me what i shouldn't do/you should know by now i won't listen to you/walk around with my hands up in the air/cause i don't care/cause i'm allright, i'm fine/just freak out, let it go/i'm gonna live my life/i can't ever run and hide/i won't compromise.." it's actually quite peppy and i love it.

Quick – your favorite clever song lyric!

"too many politicians and liberal christians--they're all set out for me/singing 'cast your vote mr nally, castrate your vote, no you don't, just run...'" i love those lines.
